Renewable Energy Project Validation and Verification

CoZero provides independent validation and verification for qualifying renewable-energy GHG projects. We assess project designs, baselines, methodologies, monitoring arrangements, calculations and reported emission reductions against agreed criteria. Every enquiry undergoes a pre-engagement review to confirm competence, impartiality, accreditation status and any applicable carbon-programme requirements.

According to the agreed engagement scope and criteria, CoZero independently assesses matters including:

Project designs, baselines and methodologies.
Monitoring arrangements and supporting evidence.
Calculations and reported GHG emission reductions.

Solar and wind projects are examples of renewable-energy project enquiries that may be considered through CoZero’s pre-engagement review. CoZero does not prepare the project documentation, develop the baseline or perform the calculations it is appointed to validate or verify.

Planning to generate carbon credits?

Carbon-credit programmes apply their own eligibility, methodology and VVB approval requirements. CoZero reviews the project, programme and methodology before confirming whether it can accept the validation or verification engagement. Independent assessment does not guarantee registration or credit issuance, which remains subject to the relevant programme or registry.
